Bill Parrott is the founder and owner of Parrott Wealth Management.   Bill started his investment career in May of 1989 with the investment firm of Spelman & Company in San Diego. In January of 1990 Bill joined the firm of Dean Witter Reynolds in Pasadena, California. During his career as a Financial Advisor with Dean Witter (and later Morgan Stanley) he worked in California, Connecticut and Texas.   In 1999 Bill was given the opportunity to become a Branch Manager for Morgan Stanley in New Haven, Connecticut.  In 2003 he moved to Austin, Texas to manage offices in Austin, College Station and Temple.  In 2006 Bill was hired as a Co-Branch Manager and Financial Consultant for A.G. Edwards & Sons in Austin, Texas.   In 2008 Bill joined Charles Schwab as a Financial Consultant in the Executive Services Division.

While at Schwab, Bill presented retirement and investment workshops to the following companies:  Air Lines Pilots Association, Austin Radiological, Baton Rouge Clinic, Capitol Anesthesia, Facebook, HDR, Jackson County Memorial Hospital, Medical Clinic of Houston, NCH Corporation, Perkins & Will, PGA TOUR HQ, Pioneer Natural Resources, Susman Godfrey and the Texas Municipal Power Agency.

Bill earned his Bachelors of Business Administration from the University of San Diego (USD) in 1988.   While at USD he was an active member of the varsity football team and the Sigma Chi fraternity.  Bill has been married to his wife Tonya for 23 years and they have one daughter, Hannah.

In 2003 Bill obtained the Certified Financial Planner designation.

Bill enjoys reading, running, fly-fishing and hiking. In 2011 Bill ran and finished the Boston Marathon.

Bill currently volunteers his time with the Vandegrift High School Marching Band & Vision Dance Company and the Austin Christian Fellowship Church.   An active member of Austin Christian Fellowship Bill has participated in a number of local and international mission trips including Haiti, Nicaragua and Mexico.  He has also volunteered with the children and youth ministries.
